Steel Work Solutions is looking for an experienced Welder to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. This is a full time hybrid position that is an on-site position with competitive salary depends on experience. The right candidate will have a minimum secondary high school diploma and 1 years to 7 months of welding experience. Duties may involve the reading of blueprints, finishing a product with the use of a template, weldings joints together, and performing repair on welding equipment. Applicants must be in good physical condition and capable of performing technical duties, as attention to detail is key with safety being our top priority. Responsibilities

• Operate semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• Read and interpret a welding plan, manual, and technical specifications.
• Check and inspect the welds to ensure compliance with the required standards.
• Use brakes, scissors, and other metal machines.
• Determine the content weldability and prepare the surfaces accordingly.
• Make regular maintenance and minor repairs on welding units.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow the company’s safety and operational processes all the time.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

Secondary high school diploma required.

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of hands-on experience in welding or a related metalwork role.

Skills

• Competence in operating road machines.
• The ability to explain technical images and drawings.
• Good coordination of hand-eye.
• Mechanical qualification and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding security procedures and PPEs.
• Focus on time management and expansion.
