Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, show them to their table, take orders.
  • Carry plates, drinks, and deliver food properly.
  • Clear and reset tables once guests leave.
  • Help guests if they ask about food items or have questions.
  • Follow basic hygiene and safety steps (hotel will brief you).
  • Wear your uniform right and keep a neat appearance.
  • Let the team or manager know if something’s wrong.
  • Restock your station and check if anything’s missing.
  • Take care of guests politely — even during rush hour.
  • Work as a team, not solo — this is not a one-person job.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

No diploma or certificate required.

Experience

Not required, but 1 year in a similar role (restaurant, café, hotel) helps a lot.

Skills

  • Good attitude and basic manners
  • Speak clearly and listen well
  • Handle multiple tables when it’s busy
  • Be okay with shifts and late hours
  • Neat appearance and clean uniform

Knowledge
