Job Title
Truck Driver – Heavy Truck.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs as required.
- Record cargo details, travel distances, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate with dispatch and follow routing instructions.
- Handle dangerous goods and ensure proper safety measures.
- Conduct heavy trucks including flatbed, cooled and tractor trailers.
- Conduct inspections before trip, N Route and in turn.
- Load and unloads the goods safely and efficiently.
Monitor the condition of the vehicle including tires, brakes, lights and cold rooms. - Run as part of a two-person layer or independent.
- Comply with Canadian transport laws and safety standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
2 to 3 years of professional truck driving.
Licenses
Class 1 or A, Class 3 or D, Air Brakes Endorsement, AZ license.

- Navigation and GPS handling.
