Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods carefully to keep everything safe
• Check the vehicle’s tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage to make sure they work well
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs when needed
• Do pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to keep the vehicle in good shape
• Take care of regular preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns
• Use GPS and other navigation tools to find the best routes
• Record important information like cargo details, hours driven, distance traveled, and fuel use
• Communicate clearly with central dispatch to share updates and receive instructions

Requirements

• Must-Have Skills
• Valid Class 1 or A driver’s license to operate large trucks safely
• Ability to load and unload goods with care and attention
• Good attention to detail for vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks
• Basic knowledge of using GPS and navigation tools
• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability to keep schedules and safety standards
• Preferred Skills
• Experience with vehicle maintenance and emergency roadside repairs
• Familiarity with recording trip information like cargo, hours, and fuel use
• Willingness to learn and grow through on-the-job training
