Job Title

Tank Cleaner

Responsibilities

  • Clean a targeted number of tanks daily during standard working hours when tanks are available.
  • Confirm tanks are now leak-free and steam coils are intact.
  • Maintain clean and ethically compliant tank exteriors.
  • Conduct periodic tank tests and pressure valve overhauls as necessary.
  • Fit seals, gaskets, and tank parts accurately and safely.
  • Properly collect chemical waste and dangerous rinse water in drums for safe disposal.
  • Apply suitable cleaning procedures and safety precautions to fulfill corporate and OHSE criteria.
  • Inspect and guarantee the functioning condition of tank characteristics such as pressure valves, temperature gauges, and rupture discs.
  • Record all part replacements and usage from inventory.
  • Perform minor tank repairs, including frame straightening and walkway adjustments.
  • Assist depot supervisors with additional operational tasks as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education:

Experience:

Experience in tank cleaning and repair is required.
Minimum: 1 year preferred.

Skills:
