SBP Australia is seeking a full-time Skilled Labourer to join our growing team in Salisbury, Queensland.This role on site provides an immediate start and Australia’s leading modular and the opportunity to work with one of the portable building experts. As a skilled worker, you will involve overall module buildings, which will demonstrate tasks such as cladding, ornament and internal fit-outs. A white card with construction for the situation requires the opportunity to work well in a small team and your own original hand equipment. Experience in building or business certificates is a profit, but not necessary, as complete training is provided. Job Title

Skilled Labourer.

Responsibilities

• Collect modular and portable buildings using hands and power equipment.
• Show cladding, ornament, finishing and internal fit-outs.
• Install doors, windows and other building components.
• Read and interpret the work order, the program, the drawings and the specifications.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment all the time.
• Follow all quality and safety requirements.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to complete the projects on time.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

No formal education required. Trade certificate in a relevant industry is an advantage but not mandatory.

Experience

Experience in construction, modular building, or a related trade is preferred but not essential. Full training is provided.

Skills

• The ability to use hand and power equipment safely and efficiently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Eager to learn new techniques and systems.
• Instructions and ability to work from illustrations and specifications.
• A strong work ethic with morality, reliability, and time.

Knowledge

• The modular building experience is a plus, and familiarity with assembly is important.
• Knowledge of cladding, ornament, and fit-out processes.
• Awareness of quality standards in building construction.
• The ability to explain work orders and technical paintings.

 Applicant Location

Applicants should be based in Salisbury, Queensland, or able to commute to the workshop for on-site work.
