About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Regional Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving sales growth, managing account profitability, and ensuring compliance with sales governance standards. You’ll work independently, planning and organizing your own schedule while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client service. With clear performance metrics from sales targets and customer face time to credit management and overdue debt you’ll have everything you need to measure your success and grow your career.  Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize sales and profit within your designated customer portfolio, developing strategies that capture and respond to customer needs.

  • Align understanding of customer requirements across operations in Japan, ensuring seamless communication and execution.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, establishing trust and delivering value at every interaction.

  • Negotiate with customers to secure agreements that benefit both parties while driving account growth.

  • Collaborate closely with sales agents, commercial teams, sales support, customer services, and credit departments to ensure smooth operations.

  • Manage accounts receivable and customer credit exposure, ensuring compliance with approval limits and minimizing overdue debt.

  • Track and report on key performance indicators, including sales targets, account growth, profitability, and customer face time.

  • Maintain compliance with Maritec-Naias Sales Governance standards at all times.

Qualifications and Experience
We’re looking for an ambitious, highly organized sales professional with a proven track record of success.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven B2B sales experience, with a strong track record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships.

  • Experience negotiating with customers and closing deals that drive mutual value.

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong command of English, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work independently, planning and organizing your own work to meet deadlines.

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to allocate priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly structured approach to work, with strong attention to detail.

  • Results-oriented mindset, with a passion for achieving and exceeding targets.

  • IT literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and CRM systems.

  • Experience working towards targets and KPIs, with a focus on sales growth and account profitability.
