Order Picker Job in Ontario, Canada

Giant Tiger Wholesale is hiring a full-time Order Picker for our state-of-the-art, fully automated 660,000 sq. ft. distribution centre in Johnstown, Ontario. Location & Work Type

• Location: Johnstown, Ontario
• Work Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare store orders with accuracy and efficiency
• Stack and secure various-sized boxes on skids (1–50 lbs)
• Operate an electric double pallet truck in a safe and effective manner
• Match skids with outbound license plate numbers (OLPNs)
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the warehouse
• Support other departments as needed

Requirements

• Completion of high school education
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting and stand/walk for long periods
• Comfortable working in a noisy, fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and adaptability
• Professional appearance and demeanour
• Knowledge of OSHA and WHMIS safety standards

Preferred but Not Required

• Experience with Voice Picking or Manhattan WMS
• Experience using electric double pallet trucks
• Previous warehouse experience
• Valid Class G2 or higher driver’s license

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting wage: $19.43/hour
• +$2/hour night shift premium (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
• Automatic milestone wage increases at 1040, 2080, 4160 hours, and annually thereafter
