Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end management of wind energy projects, from initial concept through to execution and close-out.

  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Help develop detailed project plans, tracking progress against budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

  • Coordinate the deployment of tools, equipment, and technician teams across project sites.

  • Work with subcontractors to ensure all work aligns with Fairwind’s strict HSE and quality guidelines.

  • Monitor project budgets, review expenditures, and assist with cash flow reporting.

  • Participate in site meetings, including toolbox talks and progress updates, to ensure smooth operations.

  • Identify potential project risks early and contribute to proactive problem-solving.

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, keeping all records accurate and up to date.

  • Support continuous improvement by analysing project efficiency and contributing ideas for future projects.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in project coordination or management, ideally within construction, installation, or a related technical field. Your practical mindset and ability to lead teams will be key to your success.

Essential Experience and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a team leader, whether supervising technicians, tradespeople, or construction workers.

  • Practical, hands-on experience planning and managing projects, including budgeting and scheduling.

  • A good working knowledge of HSE standards and quality requirements on site.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and keep projects on track.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused approach.

  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required.

Desirable (But Not Essential):

  • Experience in the renewables industry, resources sector, or similar heavy industrial environments.

  • A formal qualification in project management or a related discipline.
