The role is part of a long-term assignment supporting Air Force base modernization efforts across the Indo-Pacific region. This position requires up to 100 percent travel and involves delivering expert electrical services for telecommunications shelters and Communication Equipment Locations (CELs). Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience, a high school diploma, and relevant licensure. Preferred candidates will have an associate degree in Electrical Systems Technology and experience with DoD network infrastructure. Clearance eligibility (Secret) is preferred. Applicants must be able to meet international travel requirements and perform hands-on infrastructure electrical work in compliance with host nation, U.S. federal, and military standards.

Job Title

Licensed Journeyman Electrician – OCONUS – TDY.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical service and infrastructure work for telecommunications shelters and CELs.
  • Install, maintain, and inspect electrical panels, UPS systems, PDUs, and grounding/bonding systems.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, DoD, and host nation electrical and safety standards.
  • Complete all electrical tasks as per technical specifications and project deadlines.
  • Coordinate with technical leads and ensure electrical readiness of network infrastructure.
  • Support ongoing electrical operations and maintenance (O&M) tasks
  • Participate in mission-critical upgrades for Indo-Pacific Air Force base infrastructure.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma (required)
  • Associate Degree in Electrical Systems Technology (preferred)

Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in electrical infrastructure and systems.
  • Experience with power panel installations, UPS systems, and generator integration.
  • Experience supporting DoD network infrastructure projects (preferred).

Skills:

  • Electrical circuit installation.
  • Grounding and bonding compliance.
  • Infrastructure diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Working with federal and military electrical codes.
  • Project site safety and quality control.
  • Reporting and documentation.

Knowledge:

  • DoD electrical standards.
