Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of your daily assigned section within the kitchen, handling all set-up, preparation, and service duties with precision and care.

  • Ensure every dish leaving your section is consistent in quality, presentation, and taste, reflecting the Club’s commitment to excellence.

  • Adhere strictly to all relevant Japanese laws and food safety regulations, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Stay personally involved in day-to-day kitchen operations, monitoring supplies, anticipating needs, and communicating effectively with the team.

  • Report daily to the outlet supervising Chef, providing updates on your section and collaborating on any adjustments required for smooth service.

  • Work collaboratively with fellow kitchen team members, fostering a positive and professional atmosphere even during busy service periods.

  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and organization in your workstation at all times.

Qualifications and Experience

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a busy, high-standard kitchen environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must currently reside in Japan.

  • Experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment, with a solid understanding of food preparation and service.

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and a genuine commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.

  • Ability to work independently within your section while also collaborating effectively with the wider team.

  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on consistency and quality in every task.

  • Reliability and a strong work ethic, with the ability to report daily and communicate clearly with the supervising Chef.

  • Conversational English is preferred, allowing for basic communication in a diverse, international team.

Preferred (But Not Essential):

  • Formal culinary training or qualifications.

  • Experience working in a high-volume kitchen, hotel, or private club setting.

  • Familiarity with Japanese cuisine or local food safety requirements.
