Equipment Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities
- Fabricate jigs and fixtures to assist manufacturing operations.
- Respond to repair requests from different departments in a timely way.
- Record and monitor maintenance operations, compressor run hours, and downtime data.
- Manage the daily start-up of machines utilized in production and facility activities.
- Maintain and assure correct working of air conditioning, lighting, plumbing, and other utilities.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance and total productive maintenance activities.
- Lead weekly Single Point Training sessions for production operators.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
NITEC or Higher NITEC in Electrical or Mechatronic Technology.
Experience
Relevant experience in machinery and equipment repair and maintenance required. 1 to 3 years preferred.
Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertise.
- Capable of working independently and addressing challenges efficiently.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to conduct technical training sessions.
Knowledge
- Understanding of preventive and productive maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and hot work protocols.
- Familiarity with compressor and facility service systems.
- Technical knowledge in jig fabrication and assembly equipment.
- Awareness of downtime tracking and maintenance reporting standards.
- Basic knowledge of industrial plumbing and electrical systems.
