Class 2 Driver in New Zealand

Vulcan is on the lookout for a reliable, safety-conscious Class 2 Driver to join THEIR  team in Otago. You’ll be delivering steel products to a wide range of commercial and industrial customers. This role combines driving and warehouse operations, offering variety and hands-on work in a supportive team environment.

Location & Work Type

• Job Location: Otago, New Zealand
• Job type: Full-time, 40h+/week
• Shifts: Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver steel products safely and on time to local and regional customers
• Secure loads with chains and appropriate restraints
• Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery documentation
• Assist in loading/unloading and manual handling of products
• Represent Vulcan with professionalism and top-notch customer service
• Participate in warehouse duties such as picking, packing, stock handling, and maintaining a clean workspace

Requirements

• A valid Class 2 NZ driver’s licence
• Proven experience in a delivery or transport role
• Sound knowledge of load safety and securement practices
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Great communication and a professional attitude
• Forklift licence is a bonus, but not essential
• Willingness to contribute to warehouse duties when required
