Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspection, testing, and maintenance of wet and dry fire systems on commercial sites, strictly adhering to AS1851-2012 standards.

Diagnose and repair faults in fire systems directly on-site, ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly and safely.

Supervise and mentor junior technicians, sharing your knowledge to help the team grow.

Read and interpret construction plans and project specifications to ensure work is completed accurately.

Collaborate with the Project Management team to keep projects on schedule and deliver quality outcomes for clients.

Provide technical input to assist with preparing accurate quotations for remedial works.

Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with other contractors and site personnel.
Qualifications and Experience
We’re looking for technicians who take pride in their work and have the experience to back it up. The ideal candidate will be someone who understands the importance of compliance and can work independently while still being a strong team player.
Essential Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the fire protection industry.

Solid, hands-on experience with wet fire systems, dry fire systems, maintenance, and testing.

Strong knowledge of relevant Australian Standards for fire systems.

A positive, professional attitude and a genuine passion for site safety.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.

Strong time management skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Required Licences and Qualifications:

Valid Driver’s Licence (WA issued is preferred but not essential).

Construction White Card.
-
Willingness to undertake a Medical Assessment with our partner provider when requested.

Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance.
Highly Desirable:

Certificate II or III in Fire Protection.

Experience with Uptick software.

Open Cablers Licence.

Current EWP or Boom ticket.
