Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical installations and maintenance within a live rail and stations construction environment.

  • Adhere strictly to all rail safety protocols and site-specific procedures at all times.

  • Operate Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) safely and competently as required for tasks.

  • Assist licensed electricians with running cables, mounting equipment, and general site preparation (for TA roles).

  • Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.

 Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Requirements:

  • A valid RIW (Rail Industry Worker) card is absolutely essential for site access.

  • Current EWP ticket (for operation under and over 11 meters).

  • A valid Construction White Card.

  • Proven ability to work safely and follow strict instructions in a high-risk environment.

  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability are non-negotiable.

For Electrician Applicants:

  • Must hold a valid Australian Electrical Licence.

For Trades Assistant Applicants:

  • Previous experience in a construction or industrial setting is highly regarded.
