This is a temp-to-perm role, offering a clear path to a permanent position for the right candidate after an initial casual period.

Key Responsibilities

Work on-site as part of a team delivering two new commercial builds from the ground up.

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in a supermarket, gym, and high-end retail spaces.

Ensure all work complies with Australian standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan efficient electrical installations.

Collaborate with other trades to keep the project running on schedule and to a high standard.

For those with the experience, step up and help coordinate daily tasks on site as a Leading Hand.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who is ready to hit the ground running. You take safety seriously, you’re reliable, and you have the commercial experience to back it up. Here’s what you’ll need to bring:

Solid, recent experience in commercial construction (large retail projects are a big plus).

A current Queensland Electrical Licence and a valid Driver’s Licence.

Your Construction White Card and current Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) and CPR certificates.

Ideally, you hold an EWP ticket for scissor lifts it will help you hit the ground running.

While not essential, if you have experience as a Leading Hand, there are opportunities to take on more responsibility.
