Responsibilities

  • Make sure guest rooms are cleaned and ready.
  • Assign rooms to cleaning staff daily.
  • Work with the front office to check which rooms need attention.
  • Personally check and prepare VIP guest rooms.
  • Answer guest requests and try to sort out small issues.
  • Handle and log any lost items found in rooms.
  • Make sure safety and hygiene rules are followed.
  • Help train new team members when needed.
  • Oversee housekeeping contractors and staff attendance.
  • Keep track of supplies and make sure stock is recorded.
  • Talk to the kitchen and F&B team about minibar checks.
  • Report broken items and follow up if they’re not fixed.
  • Attend drills and help during any emergencies.
  • Keep communication open with other departments.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

  • Formal education isn’t a must.
  • Training in hospitality is helpful.

Experience

Minimum 3 years in a hotel housekeeping leadership role.

Skills

  • Clear communication.
  • Basic computer use.
